About

My likes:

I like many things, but here are some things that I especially love.

I love God.  I am active in our church teaching the children’s program, singing in the choir, and playing instruments from time to time.  I love to see children learn about the Bible.  The faith of children never ceases to amaze me.

My family is a big part of my life.  I love having a close extended family.  We depend on each other probably more than the average family.  We are not perfect and we have been through several trials, but we can always count on each other to be there with love, encouragement and support.  My sister, Anna, is my best friend.  She can make me laugh like no one else can.

Jeff is my sweet boyfriend.  He is supportive, encouraging and thoughtful.  He thinks of others before himself.  He is family oriented and loves children as much as I do.  I admire him.

Other things that are especially close to my heart are … Bentley, my yorkie puppy; teaching; long walks; sunny days; camping; flowers; photographs; reminising with old friends; surprises; cooking; music; movies; helping others; and Christmastime.

My dislikes:

I try to keep a positive attitude and one thing I dislike is pessimism and negative attitudes.  We have a term at our house– “Negative Nancy”.  When someone is acting negatively or having a pessimistic attitude we ask “Are you being a Nancy?!”

I believe in the “Golden Rule”.  I dislike intolerance among groups of people.  I dislike stereotypes and negative connotations associated with some groups.  I believe in equality for all people.

I can have OCD tendencies from time to time which causes me to dislike being late, changing plans and unorganization.  There is no reason to be late, change plans, or be unorganized on a regular basis.

My actions:

I am responsible and motivated.  I do everything in my power to pave the pathway for a successful future.

My looks:

I have shoulder-length caramel, bronze-brown hair.  It can have waves like the ocean or be as straight as a stick.  My eyes are Carolina blue most days.  Ever-changing in their appearance depending on my clothing.  I dress conservatively.  I wear a smile 99% of the time.  I am not very tall and not very slim, somewhere in the middle is where you will find me.  I am becoming happy in my own skin, a trait I have not always possessed.

    Chrisi,

You are a very hard-worker. You are helpful and sweet. Don’t the troubles of the world ever get to you. The pictures of you and your family are great.

I think you’ll be a great Kindergarten teacher, Chrisi. I’m glad there are people out there who have a passion for that grade cause I’m not sure I could do it.
